About
Keycap Legend Generator turns any icon, logo, or letter into a print-ready mechanical keyboard keycap with a two-color legend.
Pick a profile and size: Standard, Low, Thocky or Choc v1, from 1u up to a 6.5u spacebar, then choose your legend: search 1,700+ built-in vector icons, upload your own SVG, or type a letter in one of 29 bundled fonts. Size, rotate, nudge and mirror it against a live 3D preview.
Print it the way you like: two filaments for a crisp colored legend, shine-through for a backlit board, or a single-color recessed engraving. A stem fit tolerance control dials the switch grip in to your own printer, and a homing bump can be added to Standard, Low and Thocky caps.
Export a 3MF that opens as one object with two pre-colored parts, ready to slice and print face-down (Choc v1 caps print on their side). Everything above is free. The optional Pro Pack adds whole-keyboard sets and a second legend on the same cap.

Selling what you print
Personal use is free and fully functional. To sell prints you need a commercial licence: the membership covers this and every other generator. A lifetime licence for Custom Keycap Generator covers this one forever, digital files included.
Every export carries an invisible provenance mark. It does not show on the print and never locks a feature. What is this?
